My Story
I found that this concept was fascinating due to the fact that I could not have candles burning with flames in my home due to my cat, yes my cat! Every time I lit a candle my cat would find it and play in the burning flame and sling wax all over the place, so that meant no more burning candles in my home. After some time I meet an Scentsy Consultant that asked if we would mind if she could set up a both during a Community Yard Sale we were having and we said, "sure, why not, the more the merrier." When I seen what she had, I went nuts over the smells and there were so many to choose from. Not to mention the beautiful warmers also, to heat the wax in. Now this way there is no flame to attract my cat to and he has no desire to bother them, and now my home smells awesome, in witch none of the other candles fragrances never lasted very long anyway.During the next 6 months or more I continued to use my Scentsy that I purchased, but then we received confirmation that my husband and I would be moving to Carlisle, PA, Due to the Military, my husband would be attending US Army War College for 11 months. This is not an opportunity to be turned down, might I add, so of course we moved to PA. After moving there we moved onto Carlise Barracks into Base Housing into very small homes that were so small we only took half of our belongings, of course my Scentsy was with what we took with us.Being small was not the problems with the homes, it was the smell! These homes were built in 1951, so they just smelled very old and musty. Well after hearing a lot of the other wives complaining of the same thing, I sat and was thinking, huh, that’s funny, mine doesn't smell that way because of my Scentsy. That is when I decided at that very moment that it was time for me to start selling it myself!!! All the women there loved it, and we are now done at the Army War College and back GA at Fort Benning. I am hoping to meet new women and men here also, because they love it too. We are now living in a house that was built in 1934 and it works just as well, and might I add is very safe to use in these odd homes too!!!
